Aneen Vernon is a people-person, with 30 years of experience as a Financial-and Operations Manager. She has a B.Com degree with a wealth of local and international experience. She is passionate about finding solutions to problems and loves people more than numbers ;-)

Aneen lives amongst the beautiful mountains and vineyards of the Cape Winelands in South Africa.

She shares her home with her husband, two children, and two lazy cats.

She understands that many people are afraid of facing their personal finances. They were never taught how to manage and grow money. She was not taught either. One would think that a B.Com degree and years of business experience would guarantee that knowledge. It doesn't.

Having two kids made her realise that she wanted to change this for them. They have time. Wouldn't it be great to have financially literate kids who are confident in the decisions they make from an early age?

Aneen is passionate about financial literacy as a "must-have" skill in schools.

It is an essential skill we all need to navigate adult life.
